Shaped by Families: How Families Helped Define Testa-Seat's Mission

In 2017, as we worked with therapists to develop the first Testa-Seat prototype, we were fortunate to partner with a family whose insights and experiences became the heart of our mission. They were early adopters, passionate about finding new ways to support their child and improve daily life. Their feedback didn’t just improve the seat—it redefined our understanding of what Testa-Seat could achieve for families everywhere.

First Prototype 2017

Initially, our focus was on customization—adapting the seat to meet individual physical needs. But this family showed us something even more powerful: the role a seat could play in creating meaningful connections. "For the first time, we can sit across from him during dinner, facing each other, without holding him," they shared. Mealtimes became moments of togetherness, strengthening bonds in ways they hadn’t imagined.

Their Testa-Seat quickly became an essential part of their lives, traveling with them to restaurants, movie theaters, and even the beach. At the beach, their child experienced newfound independence, sitting securely and playing in the sand for the first time. The seat’s lightweight, portable design turned everyday outings into opportunities for joy and discovery, creating lasting memories for the entire family.

Seven Years of Growth

Seven years later, this family remains deeply connected to Testa-Seat. With three sizes of the seat tailored to their child’s growth, it continues to be a cornerstone of their daily life. Their journey reminds us of why Testa-Seat exists:
