Production and Processing Time
At Testa Seat, all products are manufactured in-house to ensure premium quality. Processing time includes the hand-assembly, testing, and preparation of your order.
- Standard Items: Processed within 5 to 15 business days.

Custom / Made-to-Order: Due to complexity, these require 10 to 20 business days.

Business Hours: Production and shipping occur Monday through Friday. We do not manufacture or ship on weekends or public holidays.

Pre-Shipping Labels: Shipping labels and tracking numbers may be generated up to 48 hours prior to the product being ready for carrier pickup. Tracking will show as "Pending" until the carrier scans the item at our facility.
Shipping Methods and Logistics
We utilize a tiered shipping approach based on order volume:

Individual Units: Shipped via standard parcel (e.g., UPS, FedEx, or DHL).

Bulk/Volume Orders: Shipped via LTL (Less Than Truckload) Freight. For LTL shipments, customers must be present to sign for delivery.

Restrictions: We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses due to the size and weight of our seating products.
International Shipping (DAP Terms)
Testa Seat ships worldwide. All international orders are shipped under DAP (Delivered at Place) terms.

Duties and Taxes: The customer is the "Importer of Record" and is responsible for all customs duties, VAT, and local import fees.

Refused Shipments: If a customer refuses an international shipment to avoid customs fees, Testa Seat will refund the order minus the original shipping cost, the return shipping cost, and a 15% restocking fee.
Insurance and Risk of Loss

Domestic (U.S.): All shipments within the United States include full insurance coverage.

International (Non-U.S.): Insurance is not included in the base shipping rate for international orders. Customers may contact us prior to shipping to purchase supplemental insurance.

Transfer of Risk: Risk of loss and title for the products pass to the customer upon delivery of the package to the specified address.
Damage and Claims
Please inspect all items immediately upon arrival.

Reporting Window: Damaged or missing items must be reported within 5 days of delivery.

Evidence: You must provide clear photographs of the external packaging and the damaged product to support a claim.

Packaging: Do not discard any packaging materials until the claim is resolved; carriers often require an inspection of the original box.
Address Accuracy and Re-Routing
The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Re-Routing Fees: If a package must be re-routed after it has left our facility due to customer error, a re-routing fee of 10% of the shipping cost (or a minimum flat fee of $25) will be charged.

Undeliverable Packages: Packages returned to us due to an incorrect address will be treated as a return and subject to restocking fees.
Force Majeure (Delays Beyond Our Control)
While we maintain strict production timelines, Testa Seat is not liable for delays caused by raw material shortages, carrier disruptions, customs clearance, or extreme weather events. If a significant production delay occurs, we will notify you via the email provided at checkout.
